Christa and Brandon

Christa and Brandon were married on a bright afternoon at Lanikuhonua at Ko’Olina. They had a beautiful ceremony on the grass in Phase 2 of Lanikuhonua’s beautiful garden. They brought their pastor from home in Kentucky, and celebrated with Christa’s local Hawaiian family. They shared a very personal, yet simple ceremony followed by a photo session at Ko’Olina and an intimate family reception. The bride carried a stunning tropical bouquet of anthuriums, cymbidium and dendrobium orchids, royal lilies, and birds of paradise. Her mother acted as her maid of honor and carried a similar hand-tied bouquet. The three flower girls tossed white rose petals onto a multi-colored petal walkway out of willow baskets decorated with their bold colors of red and purple. The ceremony opened with a conch shell blowing and guests were serenaded by island music from a live ukelele player. This couple had a wonderful southern charm paired with local hospitality and genuine happiness. It was a beautiful ceremony which ended with a light sprinkle of rain for good luck!
